Thor, the Norse God of Superhuman Strength

Thor was the god of thunder and storms in Norse mythology, as well as one of the most powerful gods of Asgard. He was the son of Odin, All-Father, and king of the Aesir gods, and Jord, goddess earth-mother. Thor had a flowing red beard with eyes that flashed lightning when he became angry or excited.

His hammer, Mjölnir, was said to be so powerful that it could level mountains and shatter rocks in its path. He wore an iron gauntlet called Megingjord which doubled his strength when worn. Thor also rode across the sky in his chariot, pulled by two goats named Tanngrisnir (Teeth Grinder) and Tanngnjostr (Teeth Gnasher).
