2. It Is Believed That Metatron Is The Second Most Powerful Being

Archangel Metatron is said to be second to God in terms of power and influence on the world. This is likely due to his mention by name in the ancient text known as the Babylonian Talmud.

In it, a Jewish rabbi, Elisha ben Abuyah, saw Metatron seated in Paradise beside God and wondered whether there were two powers, not just one as previously thought. This was because they believed that nobody was permitted to be seated in the presence of God.

Enoch is also mentioned in the Bible in both Hebrews and Genesis, and it seems to be suggested that he did not die but instead was taken by God and served alongside him.

Whether you know it as ‘The Book of Life,’ ‘The Book of God’s Remembrance,’ or ‘The Akashic Records,’ it is said that Archangel Metatron was the scribe to record all that happened on earth.

Inside the book is a list of everything that has happened on earth, including everybody who has ever lived and all of their deeds.

Many believe that Archangel Metatron recorded this for God, given his proximity to the Creator and his in-depth knowledge of Creation.

It is also suggested in the Babylonian Talmud that Elisha ben Abuyah witnessed Metatron sitting in God’s presence because he was the Heavenly Scribe recording all of Israel’s deeds.
